ToughDrive Sport – Your safest 500GB yet

Freecom is releasing a new 500GB drive called the ToughDrive Sport that it claims to be the toughest external hard drive yet. Able to withstand drops of up to two meters in height and with protection against adverse weather like rain, the drive is ideally suited for portability.

An integrated USB cable make connectivity and powering up easy. The drive features an internal anti-shock mechanism and a hardware encryption chip to secure drive access with a password.
