Call it a kitchen car or kitchen in the car, the “Scion Kogi xD” is a mobile kitchen from Scion and MV Designs that lets you have food cooked by your own hands wherever you go. Removing the back seats to include a mini fridge, attached to the left rear door, the mobile kitchen also includes a barbecue at the rear where you may roast hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, sweet corns, and so on. The kitchen car stores utensils in the left tail light and the sauces on the right. Moreover, the Scion Kogi xD comes built in with a 10-inch monitor, ice chest and sink to complete the mobile kitchen.

If you live in a metropolitan area and have to spend hours on jam-packed roads while heading from your home to work and vice versa, the Original Buddy Desk can be a true mate that turns into a dining table to serve food, a workstation for your portable systems and a desk to write or work on. All you have to do is insert the narrow end of the desk into the bottom of the steering wheel that rests against the steering column. And when you are done with your work, eating or writing, just pull it back and store away until you reach the next stop.

You’re looking at the Slow Car concept from Jurgen Bey, one of the Netherlands’ most respected high-end home furniture designers. He’s taken the humble office cubicle, and slapped it on a 25mph scooter. Talk about being chained to your desk.

He imagines environments like campuses and airports offering the vehicle, because it lets folks stay productive at a desk, in privacy, without walking. He says by limiting the speed, users should feel a sense of calm at being able to max out the throttle, something we don’t always get to do in cars.

Personally, being boxed makes me feel pretty far from calm. Fail. Check out the vid and decide for yourself.

Last December, Green Car Advisor’s Nick Kurczewski was able to snag a ride in MDI’s AIRPod. Now, the lucky punk journalist has taken a turn behind the wheel. The short version of his review: this could be the car of the future and it feels like an amusement park ride, but it’s no Millennium Falcon. Seriously.

As we know, the Air Car uses compressed air to power a small two-cylinder engine. The 180cc poweplant produces 5.4 horsepower, but MDI is working on a upgraded AIRPod GT will have 8 hp. Kurczewski says the AIRPod’s joystick steering is modified from the original design, which would have seen the speed and deceleration controlled by the stick as well as direction. That complicated-sounding mess has been scrapped in favor of more traditional pedals + joystick.

Check out all the details – including why driving a bubble car with no openable windows in June is not a good idea and how MDI plans to bring dozens of AIRPods to airports and universities and other locations around the world – over at Inside Line. Thanks to throwback for the tip!

If you also have the tendency to forget where your car is, you should know that bright people have thought of a solution: the Travel Honey GPS Location Finder, which is being offered by Chinavision. It was especially designed to help you never lose your car again and to let you know there’s nothing wrong with it.

The only thing you should do in order to get your car back is to let yourself guided by the red LED. In the moment you reach a distance of no more than 50 meters from the saved location, you’ll see a flashing arrow that will turn blue when you’ll be within 15 meters. In addition, the gadget comes with another interesting feature: it is able to convert your computer into a genuine GPS system, by just connecting it to the USB port of your computer.

The data logger function of this device can be used when you want to record the GPS information during a trip, such as position, speed and altitude, which you’ll be able to see on Google Maps or Google Earth as soon as you establish the connection between the dongle and your computer and the you make use of the software package included, called iTravel Data Logger. So, you’ll have a four-in-one functionality that is, in fact, a mixture between: GPS receiver, Location Finder, Data Logger and Photo Tagger. The last one allows you to share the pictures that are immediately geo-tagged with your loved ones, on Flickr. The Travel Honey is available at Chinavision for $54.

LimousinesWorld have launched the Executive Mobile Office SUV, which is of course an SUV but also carries the office with you. Perhaps you could go on a long drive and still be in your office. It comes with all the office products like Internet, Desks, Computer connections, Captain chairs and bar installed inside.

It also has an awesome TV and DVD player in it. It also comes with a little bar and there is also privacy from the chauffer so you would not have to worry about peeping inside if things get a little hot with your steaming secretary. This luxury car can be customized on many cars.

These include Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes GL, Lincoln Navigator, Infiniti QX56 and Ford Expedition. You would have to visit the company’s site and see if things work out for you. In my opinion, this is an awesome way to have your office!
