In association with British designers SPGA, IBA were executive architects and project managers for the new 7000m2 premises for Deloitte Czech republic in the Nile House building, Prague 8. The project involved extensive custom made furnishings, a representative client suite, staff social areas and the first large implementation of bench tables in the Czech republic. The space is geared towards maximum flexibility, and dramatic headcount fluctuations for hot desking staff.

“Bruggenhoofd Chabot” is a landing craft in which visitors can use as a crossover from street level into the garden of the Chabot museum. It’s a frontal attack upon the museum’s borders and outer-walls. As artists it can be difficult to get through to the museum world, so we decided to make our own entrance. This works is made in collaboration with Paul Segers head-chief of the nieuw brabants front.

Inside his climbing-wall fortress he has a desk made of particle board that has been sanded and sealed with polyurethane to give it a glossy surface you wouldn’t expect from the kind of material it’s made out of.
